I came to know of real eyes counselling through an event they were hosting. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make that one but the organisers got in touch and kindly offered me support to make it to future events when I mentioned I struggle to get to many places. I have had counselling since and mentoring with brother Muhammad for a few years. I am amazed how much his mentorship has helped me navigate through my hard years and the trauma afterwards. After years of trying to find non judgmental support, I’m so glad I did! Since getting the support of the last few years, I have seen such a positive difference within myself. If you’re struggling or need support, I would really recommend his services!

MV was incredibly supportive, non judgemental and allowed me to express myself however I felt I needed to at the time. I volunteered at real projects in 2021 as part of my counselling degree. It was a great opportunity to connect with clients during the covid period through telephone/online therapy. I learnt how other forms of communication in therapy can also provide a level of support. The charity supported me to develop my skills, confidence and helped me in my journey to becoming a therapist. The service supports a range of different backgrounds, ethnicities and faiths.
